Virtual Worlds Conference Coming To San Jose!

“Your World Your Imagination”
Businesses from around the world will be converging into one spot in October. The San Jose Convention Center will be home to Virtual Worlds Conference.
For two days business will look at exhibits and listen to keynote speakers on why they should connect with the millions of people currently online in virtual worlds such as Second Life and There.
Anthony Zuiker, Creator of CSI: Crime Scene Investigations, CSI: Miami, and CSI: NY will be there Wednesday. Christian Renaud, Chief Architect, Networked Virtual Environments will be speaking in Thursday.
Speakers and businesses will focus on Entertainment and Marketing, Virtual Worlds for the Enterprise, Business Strategy and Investment, Community and Customer Service, Design and Development.
Each focus is extremely important to business that wishes to venture into virtual worlds. Especially Entertainment, Marketing, Community, and Customer Service. As a resident of Second Life, I have seen so many companies come into Second Life with a bang and then tend to fizzle out to a ghost town.
Virtual residents want to be interactive and the businesses that usually thrive are ones that engage the resident.
If you’re able to make it to the conference don’t forget to listen to the other speakers and visit the exhibits. Jeff Barr, Senior Web Services Evangelist of Amazon Web Services and his staff have created a wonderful world in Second Life, as well as all the other sponsors and speakers.
