Merging and Moving @ TSO
On Janury 17, EA-Land opened with the swarm of hundreds of online sims. Electronic Arts is already merging and making changes. I’m sure that these won’t be the last.
I had the chance to spend fourteen days at The Sims Online and had some fun playing the game. I can’t compare it to There.com but unlike Secondlife.com there are actually things to do other than build and shop.
Sims can either have free range to build their skills or earn money. Sims also have the choice of actually getting a job in which skills will have to be built to be a Club Dancer, DJ, Chef, and more.
The graphics are as amazing as Second Life but the atmosphere makes up for it.
So what is the news with The Sims Online?
ATM’s
The Sims are able to add cash to their accounts until they get a job.
Town Halls and Pub
Sims are able to have their say. For the next week, staff members of The Sims Online will be at the Town Hall and Pub to answer questions. Hopefully they’ll be there weekly for anything that comes up.
Mini-Cars
Unfortunately Sims can’t drive them but they do allow Sims to sit and increase their stats. At the moment Sims are able to pictures of friends and families into their Sim world but I see player created items in the future.
