I know that I love animals but I have to say the newest addition to San Jose, California is cute, cute, and cute. Happy Hollow Park and Zoo have a Meerkat Manor of their own with new babies that are almost a month old.

San Jose Animal Care is celebrating its 2007 Holidays Adopt-A-Thon. San Jose Animal Care will be offering a Dog Training demo, Costume Contest, Best Pet Trick Contest, and Pet/Owner Look-Alike Contest this Saturday.

There’s a special on adopting adult cats! Adoption fees are cut in half. Don’t worry they have dogs, bunnies, and sometimes birds too.

I’ve started to volunteer at this organization and I have to say that these people love all the animals that come into their care. They really hope to adopt as many animals out as possible on Saturday and in the future.

All in all it’s going to be a fun day and I hope to get some great photographs!
Don’t forget to travel to San Francisco if you don’t find a pet here. I’m sure the San Francisco ASPCA has animals that would love a new home.

Remember to get your animals spayed and neutered. If your unable to afford it there are agencies that will work with your income to get it done!
